WHO: Use low sodium salt to reduce heart attack risk

WHO recommends replacing regular table salt with Lower-Sodium Salt Substitutes (LSSS) to reduce sodium intake and decrease risks of heart attack and stroke. LSSS contains potassium chloride, which lowers blood pressure but is not suitable for individuals with kidney impairments. Uptake remains low due to costs and awareness issues.Original Article
