Use of AI: MeitY readies voluntary ethics code for artificial intelligence firms

India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is developing voluntary ethical guidelines for organizations involved in artificial intelligence and generative AI. Expected to be released in early 2025, the guidelines aim to establish responsible practices for AI development and deployment, including addressing potential misuse.
