Unemployment rate dips to 6.4% in December quarter: Survey

The unemployment rate for people aged 15 years and above in urban areas decreased to 6.4 per cent in the October-December quarter of 2024, as per the National Sample Survey. The labour force participation rate also rose slightly to 50.4 per cent during the same period.Original Article
