Power Grid wins bid for transmission project

Power Grid Corporation secured a bid for a transmission project to evacuate 3.5 GW of power from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zone. The project involves building a substation, transmission lines across Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, and upgrading existing substations. The company received the Letter of Intent on November 25, 2024.
