Rishabh Pant was acquired by the Lucknow Super Giants for a record-breaking Rs 27 crore in the IPL auction, surpassing Mitchell Starc’s previous record. Despite Delhi Capitals using their Right to Match card, LSG ultimately secured Pant with their final bid. This move marks Pant’s first time playing for an IPL team other than his hometown team, Delhi.
