Indus Treaty arbitration court is illegal, says India

India has firmly rejected the authority of the Court of Arbitration under the Indus Waters Treaty, deeming it illegal and refusing to acknowledge its jurisdiction over the Kishenganga and Ratle hydropower projects in Jammu and Kashmir.
