India elected to UN ECOSOC: India pledges commitment to global development – all you need to know

India has been elected to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for the 2026-28 term. External affairs minister Dr S Jaishankar expressed India's dedication to promoting development issues.
