India, Bangladesh border talks begin in Delhi

India and Bangladesh's border forces, BSF and BGB, began their 55th DG-level talks in Delhi to discuss cross-border issues, including fencing work, attacks on personnel, and trans-border crimes. This is the first high-level meeting since Sheikh Hasina’s government fell in August 2024. Both sides aim to enhance cooperation, address border security concerns, and finalize discussions with a joint record on February 20. The talks follow recent diplomatic tensions over India's border fencing efforts and Bangladesh's push to revise certain agreements.Original Article
