ICAR: World’s first genome-edited rice varieties to boost yields 30%

India's agricultural research body, ICAR, has developed two genome-edited rice varieties, 'DRR Dhan 100 (Kamala)' and 'Pusa DST Rice 1', promising a 20-30% yield increase.
