Disapproving marriage does not amount to abetment of suicide: SC

The Supreme Court ruled that expressing disapproval of a marriage does not constitute abetment of suicide under IPC section 306. Justices B V Nagarathna and Satish Chandra Sharma made this observation while quashing charges against a woman accused of abetting another woman's suicide.Original Article
