Centre sanctions Rs 3,417.68 crore for Northeast infrastructure in last 3 FY: Assam tops fund allocation under NESIDS

The Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) has allocated Rs 3417.68 crore for 90 projects under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS). Assam received the largest share, primarily for road development. The scheme, encompassing road and other infrastructure projects, is monitored by both state governments and the MDoNER.Original Article
